The Institute of Technology and Research (ITP) has been standing out for over two decades in promoting sustainable solutions and driving technological development in various fields. The laboratories of ITP, the Bioprocess Engineering Laboratory (LEB) and the Food Research Laboratory (LPA), have played a key role in this scenario, featuring a multidisciplinary team comprised of professors, post-doctoral researchers, master's and doctoral students, as well as undergraduate research students.
The main objectives of these laboratories are focused on the development of innovative research and technologies in the field of biomass valorization. Biomass, which stands out for its wide applicability and the rich diversity present in Brazil, is of utmost importance to ITP.
Thanks to partnerships established with companies, ITP has been converting industrial waste into high-value-added products such as enzymes and substrates used in the production of biofuels, biolubricants, and other products. This initiative aims to promote the efficient use of available resources, as well as contribute to environmental preservation.
Entrepreneurs, industries, and professionals involved in the field of biomass valorization are invited to learn about the work developed by ITP. The institute is always open to new perspectives, partnerships, and contributions to society. Through mutual collaboration, it is possible to drive sustainability and build a better future for everyone.
